Elsewhere in the neighborhood, pick up what you need at Whole Foods Market, Asel Art Supply, and Tom Thumb gourmet grocery store.

Dallas’s Uptown neighborhood is a hub for the city’s arts and culture scene. Museums, art galleries, and theaters can be enjoyed in and around the area.

First up, new residents should be sure to visit the Dallas Museum of Art as soon as they’ve arrived. Showcasing numerous exhibits filled with stunning pieces of art, this museum always has something new to look at. Another big museum is the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Planning to head outdoors on your next day off? Uptown features several beautiful parks and green spaces. The largest is Reverchon Park. Spanning 46 impressive acres, this park encompasses Turtle Creek, a playground, walking trails, and recreation facilities. Other noteworthy outdoor spaces include Klyde Warren Park, Griggs Park, and Pike Park.
