They are also close to schools that are part of the highly-rated Richardson School District. Nature enthusiasts feel especially at home in Lake Highlands thanks to the area’s many outdoor spaces.

The main attraction in the entire neighborhood is White Rock Lake. Accompanied by a trail system for biking and hiking, this breathtaking waterfront is perfect for sunny Dallas days. Around the lake, you can visit other hotspots such as the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden at the Dallas Arboretum, The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, White Rock Park, and White Rock Lake Dog Park.

Around the area, there is even more to see and do. Individuals looking to spend time outside should check out Harry S. Moss Park, Norbuck Park, Flag Pole Hill Park, and Royal Oaks Country Club. For those who have younger children, the Play Street Museum is a fabulous place to visit.
